For 2017, the key buzzword has been bitcoin and blockchain. Blockchain up, blockchain down, bitcoin, bitcoin futures, invest in bitcoin, ethereum and all of that. But blockchain and the rest of the popular buzzwords underline (and in some cases mask) the key developments in the digital markets worldwide, increasing reach and adoption for all types of new technologies, regardless of their overall viability as of this moment.
